Fruit in Puff Pastry Shells Recipe

 

Ingredients:

1. Puff pastry 500gms
2. Egg (beaten) 1
3. Dry plain flour as required

For Filling:

1. Mix fruit tin 1 cup
2. Honey 2tbsp
3. Icing sugar 4tbsp
4. Cinnamon powder 1/2tsp

For Icing:

1. Icing sugar 1tsp
2. Cinnamon powder 1/2tsp


Fruit in Puff Pastry Shells Recipe

Instruction:


Spread the puff pastry by sprinkling the plain flour over it. Cut a layer of about 1/4 inches in size. Now make the layer clear with the help of rolling pin. Now cut it with the help of round cutter. Put these pastries in the greasy baking tray. Cover the pastries with the beaten egg. Preheat the oven at 180 degress for about 15 minutes.

Filling:

Take a pan and put mix fruit,honey,icing sugar and cinnamon powder then cook them well together until it becomes caramel like and thick. Now take out these pastries from the oven and press the upper part from the middle. Make sure that this work should only be done on the hot puff pastries. Put puff pastry shells on serving plate and fill it with the mix fruits. Serve the puff pastry with the cinnamon powder and icing sugar.
